Keturah Non-Profit Micro Farms, Inc. is an agricultural nonprofit committed to improving food security through micro-farms, agricultural education, sustainable farming, hunger-relief initiatives, and community development.
We believe one of the most powerful ways to address hunger is not only to provide food, but to help people develop the knowledge, resources, and skills to grow food.
The Keturah Farms journey began in 2019 with a vision to use agriculture as a practical tool for addressing hunger, strengthening communities, and creating sustainable opportunities.
What started as an agricultural project grew into something much larger.
Through relationships with farmers, community leaders, schools, organizations, and families, the Keturah Farms vision began expanding into communities internationally.

Sustainable change requires more than giving someone food for today.
Communities also need opportunities to develop knowledge and resources necessary to produce food for tomorrow.
That principle continues to shape the work of Keturah Farms today.
As the work expanded, Keturah Non-Profit Micro Farms, Inc. was established to further the mission through agricultural education, micro-farm development, food-security initiatives, hunger relief, and community development.
The nonprofit is building upon years of agricultural experience and international relationships while developing new programs designed to serve communities in the United States.
Today, the vision includes both global agricultural initiatives and a growing U.S. micro-farm movement.

To improve food security through micro-farms, agricultural education, sustainable farming, hunger relief, and community development programs that empower families, women, minorities, and underserved communities in the United States.
Our programs are designed to provide people with practical knowledge and opportunities that can contribute to stronger families, healthier communities, agricultural entrepreneurship, and long-term food security.

We envision communities where people have access not only to food, but also to the knowledge and resources necessary to participate in producing it.
Our long-term vision is to develop and support sustainable micro-farm models that can be adapted and replicated in communities throughout the United States and internationally.
CAN FEED FAMILIES.
CAN TEACH ANOTHER.
CAN BE REPLICATED.
CAN INSPIRE ANOTHER
Developing practical small-scale agricultural models that demonstrate how food can be produced efficiently in limited spaces.
Providing practical education and training for beginning farmers and individuals interested in sustainable food production.
Introducing growing methods and technologies that can help communities produce food efficiently and responsibly.
Developing strategies that address immediate needs while encouraging longer-term food-production capacity.
Helping individuals understand how farming can create opportunities for income generation and economic development.
Using agriculture as a tool to strengthen families, organizations, schools, and communities

Food distribution is important and can meet an immediate need.
But we also believe in developing long-term solutions.
Through this approach, Keturah Farms seeks to help individuals move from simply receiving food toward developing greater capacity to participate in growing, producing, and potentially selling food.
Somtimes it can begin with something as simple as learning how to successfully grow vegetables at home.
Keturah Non-Profit Micro Farms, Inc. is developing a demonstration micro-farm model in Georgia that brings several agricultural methods together in a relatively small space.
The demonstration model includes traditional and innovative growing techniques such as raised beds, container production, greenhouse growing, aeroponics, hydroponics, specialty crops, and other sustainable food-production methods.
The farm will serve as a learning environment and demonstration site supporting educational programs that can also be delivered through off-site and video-based training
