At Keturah Non-Profit Micro Farms, Inc., we believe education is one of the most powerful tools for creating sustainable food systems.
Growing food is important.
But teaching someone how to grow food can create an impact that continues for generations.
Our educational programs introduce children to science and agriculture, expose students to food production and agricultural careers, provide practical education for adult farmers, and demonstrate innovative micro-farming methods that can be adapted by communities.
CHILDREN > STUDENTS > FARMERS > COMMUNITIES > FUTURE GENERATIONS

Children are naturally curious.
Why do plants grow?
Where does our food come from?
What happens beneath the soil?
How do water, sunlight, energy, and the environment affect life?
Our Science for Kids initiative provides opportunities to turn that curiosity into learning.
The program was developed by a former award-winning U.S. Science and Mathematics teacher and is designed to introduce children to scientific concepts through engaging educational experiences.

Our vision is to continue expanding opportunities for children and young people to experience agriculture as something they can participate in—not simply read about.

Education does not end in the classroom.
Keturah Farms provides agricultural education and practical training for adult farmers and farming communities.
Training may address:

Keturah Non-Profit Micro Farms, Inc. is developing a demonstration micro-farm model in Georgia designed to show how multiple food-production systems can operate within a relatively small footprint.

Keturah Farms is developing video-based educational resources that can demonstrate agricultural methods step by step.
